Illustrations

For this collection, to showcase the samples effectively, GeoJoy has employed a multi-faceted approach, combining illustrations, hand-drawn sketches, and digital illustrations created using Adobe Photoshop. Ilustrations and hand-drawn sketches allow GeoJoy to convey the essence of my samples with a personal touch, capturing the intricacies of the hospital environment, which I am designing for.

As colour is so important to GeoJoys’ concept of creating uplifting textile samples, naturally progression of design converted to using Adobe Photoshop. This platform has enhanced the clarity, precision, and quality of my designs. Using photoshop to develop visualisations has seamlessly integrated GeoJoys’ textile samples into digital renderings of hospital waiting rooms and hallways, providing clients with a realistic and immersive preview of my design concepts.

Digital illustrations have been used throughout GeoJoy to showcase how samples would look when printed to full interior lengths. As I am unable to photograph samples within a physical hospital setting, due to healthy and safety, and privacy reasons, digital mock ups have been used to effectively represent the GeoJoy collection, captivating how the samples increase enjoyment within care spaces.
